In May 2022, UNDP invited global representatives from electoral assistance to participate in an action coalition to tackle the issue of information integrity in elections. The coalition convened to assess and understand the most concerning impacts of disinformation on electoral integrity; gather best practice, case studies and experience, as well as the various opportunities for how the integration of technology in electoral settings can best contribute to free and fair elections.

The results of these rich discussions are the findings that will be presented in this meeting, offering insights into how this complex problem can be addressed.
