During the 2023 Summit for Democracy, the Global Democracy Coalition launched its Democracy Defenders campaign to give voice to democracy defenders around the world and to highlight their struggles and stories to advance democracy, whether they are from civil society, opposition political parties, or operating inside their country or in exile.
