On 17 October 2022, an interaction workshop titled “What now? Supporting the Summit for Democracy Process in Nepal”, was held in Kathmandu, Nepal. The workshop had a total participation of 50 individuals representing government, CSO, media, donor community etc. The workshop was largely focused on Nepal’s commitments at S4D, its implementation mechanism, missed opportunities and recommendations for the upcoming S4D. The workshop was conducted in two phases. In the first part, the participants from International IDEA, European Union and Accountability Lab Nepal presented briefly about S4D, Nepal’s involvement in the process, results from the nation-wide S4D survey etc. The second part consisted of group discussion on the three broader themes; Nepal’s S4D implementation of commitments, Youth Political Participation, and Electoral Integrity.
