International IDEA will present the findings from the latest edition of its flagship report, The Global State of Democracy 2022: Forging Social Contracts in a Time of Discontent. This launch event will be held on 30th November 2022, from 16:00 to 18:00 CET.
The launch will include a high-level panel discussion on how redesigning social contracts can help revitalize democratization around the world. In addition, International IDEA is excited to announce the launch of the Democracy Tracker, a new qualitative database of democracy and human rights developments created under the Global State of Democracy Initiative.
The global launch of the GSoD 2022 Report and Democracy Tracker seeks to present the report’s key findings and discuss their policy relevance with policymakers from the international and bilateral donor community, national policymakers, civil society organizations and opinion-makers.
