USAID says the following
“Hello! Preparations for the 2022 DRG Virtual Conference on June 21-30, 2022 are advancing nicely. We are excited to share with you the current Conference Agenda At-a-Glance so that you can begin to block your schedule. Please keep watch for the registration link which will arrive in your inboxes on Monday, June 6th!
Meanwhile, we have good news! Sviatlana Tsikanouskaya
, leader of the Belarus Democratic Opposition, has confirmed participation for the opening session along with Larry Diamond, an American political sociologist
, and hopefully Administrator Samantha Power. We are also planning on Samson Itodo
, Nigerian community organizer and democracy advocate, for the closing session alongside DRG Center leaders. We are trying to get a few other speakers as well. Wish us luck!
One of our objectives for this year’s DRG Conference is to expand and diversify participation, including by inviting local partners in USAID host countries and DRG donor partners. We encourage you to share this message with your contacts in the DRG promotion community!
Anyone who would like to receive the Conference registration link and future emails directly can fill out this form
We look forward to seeing many of you at the DRG Conference later this month!”
